Tax season seems to be a very trying and stressful time for most taxpayers. I think the words Internal Revenue Service immediately translate to fear. I try to alleviate that fear.

Because taxes and the implications of a monetary decision throughout the year can create a financial issue at tax time, I encourage my clients to contact me anytime. I would rather spend time answering a question than delivering a surprise on April 15th.

I have 22 years of experience with the first 13 years working at H & R Block. I have to give credit where credit is due because I received a great education at H & R Block, and have continued that education with 30 hours of continuing education each year. The Internal Revenue Service only requires 24 hours of continuing education, but the National Association of Tax Professionals requires 30 hours.

I received my Enrolled Agent status 12 years ago. Through the years I have had the pleasure of meeting and working with some professionals from different disciplines, including a few knowledgable CPAs. If I don’t know the answer and can’t find the answer to a complex question I have a go-to person.

Through the years my client base has changed from strictly tax preparation to accounting, which has led to payroll, and advising clients on various entities when they open a new business.
